My class tried the "Thankful Quilt" activity today, and we LOVED the results! Can't wait to include the other two classes in our grade, and hang a giant Thankful Quilt in the hall! Video of samples at:

I had my class do the "Thanksgiving Quilt" today from Tpt, and it turned out so cute. I showed your video clip first. Thank you for sharing. I also have your M and M conferencing bookmarks and they help make conferring go much smoother.

ReplyDeleteI think the best thing about the quilt squares is that it gives so much confidence to kids with motor skill issues, or who just don't think of themselves as artists. It starts out so cute that adding to the cuteness with your own ideas isn't so much of a risk.
